GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS
Car rental through our services is possible for travelers of all nationalities and Cubans residing abroad. Attention: Car rental through our services is not allowed for Cuban citizens living in Cuba. The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years + 2 years driving license (Driving license must be more than 2 years old). Not Pleasant: the client is solely responsible for knowing his situation with a Cuban rental company. We do not have access to this confidential information. If a customer books a rental and has been declared Unwelcome on a previous rental, We will not be responsible if the rental agency denies delivery for the reason that the registered driver has been declared Unwelcome. In this case, no refund will be made.
• It is mandatory to rent a car that the contract holder and the additional drivers
• If the main driver is not present when picking up the vehicle, the rental may be denied. Only one main or additional driver can be booked for a rental at the same time
• The client is obliged to present the payment voucher issued by the travel agency or tour operator, the original passport and the current driving license of the reservation holder (name changes are not allowed).
• The client agrees to pay all debts derived from the service provided in the car lease contract.
• The client is responsible for receiving and demanding from the RENTAL COMPANY that the vehicle and all accessories described in the contract are in good working order and agrees to return it in the same conditions in which it was received and on the date and time specified in the contract. the lease contract, as well as to pay for accessories and parts of the vehicle that are missing at the time of return and that have not been indicated as missing when receiving the car. In the event that one of the reasons mentioned in this point arises, the Travel Agency and/or online site through which the car was reserved is released from any responsibility.
• If the client is deprived of the use of the rented vehicle by a legally authorized body, due to the commission of a crime or violation of an administrative provision, he will not have the right to claim any type of refund of the amount paid, and must assume the expenses for the accidents caused and/or loss of profits due to vehicle stoppage. In the event of confiscation of the vehicle, he will be obliged to pay the RENT COMPANY the total value of the vehicle.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
When picking up or returning the car, the client must pay the following charges (if applicable) according to the public tariff and conditions of each RENT COMPANY
• Aditional driver.
• Empty return supplement. IMPORTANT: After payment of the service, cancellations are not allowed nor are refunds issued for the amount paid by the client.

Travel to Cuba from the US?

Pursuant to the June 2017 Presidential National Security Memorandum on Strengthening United States Cuba Policy, the State Department also publishes a list of entities and subentities that are under the control of, or act for or on behalf of, the Cuban military, intelligence, or Cuban security services or personnel and with which direct financial transactions would disproportionately benefit the Cuban military, intelligence or security services or personnel at the expense of the Cuban people or private companies in Cuba: the Department of State's List of Restricted Entities and Subentities Associated with Cuba ("Cuba Restricted List"). From now on, persons subject to the jurisdiction of the United States will be prohibited from carrying out certain direct financial transactions with entities and sub-entities identified by the Department of State on the Cuban Restricted List. Certain transactions will be excluded from this prohibition under exceptions detailed in the NSPM.

The requirements demanded by car rental companies in Cuba to drive the vehicle are:
-Be at least 21 years old; except for the REX brand sports category, which requires a minimum of 25 years of age.
-Be at most 80 years old
-Possess a valid driving permit or license in accordance with the car you have reserved.
With a minimum of two (2) years of issuance, except for category I sports rentals of the REX commercial brand, for which a driving license with a minimum of three (3) years must be presented. ) years of issue.

Additional drivers must meet the above requirements. They are only authorized to drive the car in the absence of the contract holder. They are not authorized to open or close contracts, make extensions or modifications to the contract, receive refunds or include an additional driver.
