Car rental through our services is possible for travelers of all nationalities and Cubans residing abroad. Attention: Car rental through our services is not allowed to Cuban nationals residing in Cuba. The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years + 2 year old driving license (The driving license must be more than 2 years old). Not being declared Unwelcome: the client is exclusively responsible for knowing his situation with a Cuban rental company. We do not have access to this confidential information. If a customer books a rental and has been declared Unwelcome on a previous rental, we will not be responsible if the rental agency denies delivery due to the registered driver being declared Unwelcome. In this case no refund will be made.

I have insurance through my credit card that includes rental cars. Can I use it in Cuba?

No. Unfortunately, car companies in Cuba do not accept external insurance, but instead force all their clients to take out their own insurance.

What does mandatory insurance include?

Cubacar / Havanautos

Compulsory insurance is practically comprehensive and covers any incident, but it has the exception that it does not cover the total destruction or theft of tires.

Rex

The insurance is comprehensive without deductible.

For none of the companies does the insurance cover if driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine, or if another person not registered as an additional driver drives the car.

Please note that these terms are not final and therefore there may be changes and/or exceptions. The definitive terms will be provided by the car rental company at the time of signing the contract.

Fuel depends on the category and other cars are paid at the rental point, in each car you can see the options. The KM of almost all cars is unlimited, only one model is limited like the Jeep Bestune.
